Production consists of two main stages: 1. Tannery Process 2. Factory Process

1. Tannery Process:

We buy semi finished EI Tanned Leather and process the same in our own Tannery. Having
our own tannery gives us the cutting edge in quality by achieving the desired colours, and shades and adhering to strict quality compliance procedures. Our Tannery plays a vital role in maintaining an uninterrupted supply of quality raw materials to the factory so that our delivery schedules are on target. The Tannery is located in SIDCO Industrial Estate, Ranipet, South India, the Leather Park of India. The Tannery is a member of the Common Effluent Treatment Plant. This takes care of our effluent disposal and explains how we care about the environment, air and water. We hold the Consent Order from the Government Body, The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board. (TNPCB)

The Tannery Process is done in the following stages:

Pre-process Inspection:

At our Tannery, the incoming EI Tanned Leather material is thoroughly checked for even tannage, holes, damage etc., and then taken up for production.

Production:

• Shaving - Maintaining uniformity of substance / thickness
• Dyeing Process - Matching the colours
• Setting - Stretching the Leather
• Spraying - Achieving uniformity of colours
  

Final Inspection:

The dyed leather is thoroughly inspected piece by piece for colour, thickness and burnish before sending them to our shoe factory at Chennai.

2. Factory Process:

Our factory premises along with the Head Office situated in a prime location just 10 kms. away from the Chennai International Airport.

The production process at the factory comprises of the following stages.

a) The design and various other specifications for a product are finalized at the Director's level and data with the sketch is passed on to the production department.

b) Leather sheets are converted in to strips by using a circular strip cutting machine.

c) Leather strips are skived by using skiving machines and the strips are now ready for production.

d) Insoles are prepared in split leather using a sewing machine.

e) Uppers are Hand woven and mounting done on the Last (forme).

f) Knitting and polishing is the core department of our production. Here the craftsmanship combined with imagination gives life to designs and specifications. Knitting of strips are done to link the In-sole and upper so that the full shape of footwear is achieved as per design.

g) We have dedicated premises for quality control, packing and despatch. A team of trained staff takes care of checking and confirming that the design, size, colour and shade are as per client's order. After Quality Control is over, the products are packed with standard tags as per established procedures and despatched through prominent Cargo Agencies, DHL, TNT etc.
